We’re into the home stretch now with only 3 rounds to play. All three divisions are crowded at the top so the prizes are still up for grabs.

The draw for division 2 and 3 will be updated shortly. We are using the same playoff schedule as last year. The play-offs are not sudden death rounds and the points table will still decide the winners at the end of the season. All play-off games will still finish after 90 minutes regardless if there is a winner or a draw. The higher ranked team will proceed to the next round as the assumed winner if a draw is recorded.

Fields for tomorrow’s matches have now been confirmed. Any cancellations due to bad weather will be posted by 8am tomorrow.

After this weekend’s results we will draw the first of the final 3 rounds for division 2 and 3.

The results from Round 6 and last weekend’s catch up matches have been posted. It was great to get some positive feedback on player performance this week!

Some questions have been asked about the remainder of the season in light of the recent quakes and disruption. So long as Mainland Football can supply fields for us to play on we will continue and persevere with the schedule of fixtures. Players should ensure they allow extra travel time to matches and bring bottled water. Winter has now arrived too so it is time to wrap up, and bring extra dry cloths.
